Situated at the top of Jakhu hill, this is a Lord Hanuman temple. Along with visiting the temple you can get a panoramic view of Shivalik ranges and Sanjauli town from the hill top. The temple is 2 kms from the Ridge and located at a height of 2455 Meters. The 108 Feet tall idol of Lord Hanuman located at the top of the hill is a big attraction for tourists. According to the legend that surrounds this temple, Lord Hanuman stopped at this spot to take some rest before resuming his search for the Sanjeevani Booti to revive Lord Lakshman. It is a hotspot for monkeys who flock here in great numbers and generously accept eatables that are given to them by devotees and tourists.

Tattapani is located at a distance of 50 Km from Shimla. Tattapani means ‘hot water’, this chain of sulphur springs gushes out hot water on the River Sutlej. These hot waters came out from different places on the river bed at Tattapani. Considered of possessing medicinal values, it is believed that a dip in the hot water can cure skin diseases, joint pains and fatigue. However, it is not a natural spring since it disappears in the month of June and July as the level of the river rises. It reappears in November and December. This area is also famous for donations offered by devotees in the name Sani Dan. The offerings are given on Saturdays to a special group of peoples known as Pandys.
Viceregal Lodge is located on the Observatory hill, one of the seven hills of Shimla. The building was constructed as a resident place of Lord Dufferin, the Viceroy of India. The architecture of the building was simply amazing as it was designed in famous Jacobethan style.
Later it became as Rashtrapati Niwas, served as the summer retreat of the President of India. In the 1960's this tradition ended and the building was handed over to the Institute of Advance Studies. The Viceroy Lodge is to the west of Shimla and is a pleasant 2 km walk from the center of the city.
Grindlay's Bank is an Overseas bank was established in London in 1828. It has changed its name several time. Its branch in Shimla was opend in the year of 1912.
The Gaiety Theater, the heart of the old town hall is a remarkable piece of Victorian-Theater architecture. It was designed by renowned architect Henry Irwin, who also designed Viceregal Lodge.
